Family Helps Family
Throughout the year we hold events that benefit others. At the holidays, we have our annual Toys for Tots campaign. Each spring, our families donate hundreds of books for children in need through our Love of Literacy campaign at our annual Spring Family Picnic. The Love of Literacy effort has supported a number of area foundations including the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia, Loudoun Literacy, and Child Find in both Loudoun and Fairfax Counties. Since 2009, BeanTree has donated nearly 3,000 books to children learning to read. We actively promote and support various child-centered charities in Loudoun and Fairfax Counties to help families in need. In 2011, we supported the first ever Diaper Drive by donating supplies to help reach a goal of 30,000 diapers for families in need throughout Northern Virginia. BeanTree is also an active supporter of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Walk in Washington, D.C. as a team sponsor. Our faculty and families have also contributed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night campaign benefiting children and adults throughout our metro area.
Supporting Our Troops
We have donated custom-made pillows to the service men and women in Afghanistan.
In gratitude for the military service of our men and women in uniform, we offer their families a tuition discount.
